Hi! I’m Taylor Sloan, an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist and the owner of Tailored Connections. As a passionate pediatric SLP, my mission is to empower children and families with the tools, support, and confidence they need throughout their communication journey. I believe speech and language therapy is most meaningful when it is tailored to the child. My approach is centered around each child’s unique interests, learning through play, and building genuine connections. By creating a fun, supportive, and engaging environment, I strive to help every child feel successful while developing skills that support communication in everyday life. I earned my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Jacksonville University in 2021. From the beginning of my career, I have worked exclusively in pediatric private practice, providing both clinic- and community-based services. I quickly discovered that working closely with children and families is where I feel most at home. The opportunity to work one-on-one with each child and truly get to know their strengths, needs, and personality allows therapy to have a lasting impact on their progress toward reaching their full potential. My areas of specialty include early intervention and parent coaching, preschool speech and language disorders, gestalt language processing, and early identification of Autism. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our German Shepherd, Daisy. We love eating at our favorite restaurants, catching up on a good TV show, and enjoying time with friends and family. Thank you for your interest in Tailored Connections!
